Comments on how the meeting functioned: Most who came were believers. Focusing on the grand goal of becoming sustainable need to have a few basic carts up all the time instead of fleeting by as a slide. The figures on how many gallons of oil are used per household and for what, the easiest places to conserve or replace fossil fuel is a second and if I had it a chart of how many units of carbon we could replace with various sustainable actions would be the third. I am in hopes that members will come to this web site and develop their own discussions. |
